CALL OF THE LIGHT

Songs for Meditative Listening by Julie Redstone

This CD was first created as a cassette during a rehearsal session in 2002.  In 2006 the cassette was rediscovered, and because of the high vibration of light that it carried, was remastered into a CD called "Call of the Light."   

The six songs on this CD are evocations of the mystery of the soul's relationship with God, its love, its longing, and its desire to be one with the Beloved.  They represent a dual calling - the calling of the light and also the calling of the soul to God.  The six track titles are:

Call of the Light
Night of Mystery
Sweet Babe
Rivers of Light
Silence of Stars
Angelsong

Despite its technical limitations, the CD offers the listener a purity of voice and vibration that has a calming effect on body and consciousness.  Listening takes one into a meditative space where the soul can commune with God and the outer self can find rest and nourishment. Recording time: 34 min.  Composed and sung by Julie Redstone.
