Dear Beloved Ones,

Shortly after the first or second frost this past October, I was in the vegetable garden and saw that the tomato vines had collapsed, no longer producing nourishment for any fruit they still carried. I felt something profound about saying goodbye to the garden for this year, and thanking the tomato plants for how much they had offered of their beautiful gifts. I bowed to them.

Out of this sacred moment came a desire to share a closing of the garden ceremony with you all, in which we would thank the garden and the Earth for all that has been given, and say a prayer for the new biodynamic garden that will emerge in the Spring of 2023. This ceremony acknowledges the garden as a being, and allows us to share our hearts with it in gratitude.

We are creating this ceremony after Satsang, and I hope you can be there. There will be a warm fire, hot cider, cookies, pumpkin bread, fruit, and the warmth and love that the land and Earth provide for all who come here.

You may not have worked in the vegetable garden this past season, and if so, I hope you will join us in the next one. Beloved Ones, do not underestimate the power of our joining together in sacred intention to honor the beloved Earth. It is not just a symbolic ritual. It is a testimony of love and gratitude that helps to heal the Earth. Please join us!

With all love and blessings, GurujiMa
