“I am the Love that can hold the world. This is the place to go to in the presence of pain, whether your own or someone else’s. In order to be this love, you have to let go of other feelings that are not that. When you say “I am the love that can hold the world” you join the Oneness that is the Mother of All.
The suffering of others may be invisible to us until we allow it to be visible. When we allow it in, we need to allow it in, in the right way, which is to not submerge in it, to not merge with it, but to love and uphold and comfort those who are in pain. We do this from the place of the Divine within us.
