You are in a divine envelope, context, interaction, partnership. You do not ‘do’ purification. You are in charge of your response to it, but you do not initiate it.
Purification is not something that you ‘do.’ You are allowing it. It is a Divine-human undertaking, and the primary action of purification is a Divine action. You are in charge of the portion having to do with your own effort to adapt to the process of light moving through your body.
